DIE NEURONALE DIMENSION

Graphic Novel, Toy Design

Doctor Frederick Milkwich is the main character of the graphic novel „Die Neuronale Dimension“. This sculpture of the dubious brain researcher and parasitologist is a single piece and handshaped from polymer clay. The head of the figure is free to move, the left hand holds a blister pack of antibiotics.
'Die Neuronale Dimension' is a graphic-novel that I worked on during my last year at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design and became my diploma-project.
The story evolves around the human consciousness and the question what reality means. In a hazardous experiment Milkwich tries to heal himself from an artificial parasite that has infected his lymbic system. Having lost his memory, he gets dragged into the Neuronal Dimension.
